Kangso Lee
이강소
Kangso Lee (b. 1943) is a leading figure of Korean contemporary art history, having driven the experimental art movement of the 1970s. Working across painting, sculpture, installation, photography, performance, media and sound, he has held solo exhibitions at institutions including Palazzo Cavour in Venice, MAC Saint-Étienne and the Daegu Art Museum, and shown at the Paris and São Paulo biennials, the Brooklyn Museum and Tate Liverpool. His work is held by the V&A, Mie Prefectural Museum of Art and Korea's National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, among others.
