Marking the 9th anniversary of the Soohoh Artist Open Call, Soohoh Gallery has worked to give passionate artists and emerging talents pursuing experimental practice a chance to exhibit, becoming a channel for capable but unrecognized artists. Facing the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, this exhibition was conceived to reinterpret contemporary art in each artist's own way while reflecting — humanistically, psychologically, and philosophically — on issues urgently demanded by our time: environment, society, and an aging population. Through "Five Oceans, Six Continents," we hope to seek a path forward in the thinking and experimental work of capable artists met through Soohoh Gallery's open call and exhibitions, addressing problems faced by humanity across the globe, and to spend this time thinking together with our visitors.
