Miyoung Choi

Miyoung Choi (b. 1971) worked in London for a decade, creating abstract colours and shapes exploring the familiar-yet-unfamiliar, and her recent work centers on the sky as a subject that is both an untouched natural phenomenon and a symbol of the tensions of the present era. She holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Goldsmiths College, London, and was selected as the winning artist of the 11th Soohoh Open Call (2019), and was a finalist for The National Open Arts Competition (2010) and the 4th Arte Laguna Prize.
