Strata Landscape

Shin Joong-tae does not depict a specific form or object, but instead spontaneous colors and the feelings and emotions of the moment. He builds up layers with the brush, giving them matière, seeking to reveal a landscape accumulated within our everyday lives and memory — a landscape that is the result of his own experience and knowledge. Shin hopes his paintings will be interpreted through the viewer's own imagination.
