Inner Reflection on Utopia
Mar 20, 2026 – Jun 11, 2026 · 분당서울대학교병원 1-2동 1층

The existentialist philosopher Søren Kierkegaard held that a human being is not defined by external conditions, but becomes oneself through one's own choices and inner resolve. We become ourselves not by where we stand, but by the direction in which we look.
"Inner Reflection on Utopia" asks about that direction of the gaze. Rather than searching for an ideal world far away, it begins by pausing and turning inward. Memory and emotion, desire and hope, the traces of existence are transformed in the works into metaphor and symbol, color and texture, rhythm and space. The two artists' different languages converge on a single question: with what heart do we live, and what relations do we form?
