Jihoon Yang
양지훈

Jihoon Yang paints dreamlike scenes centered on a glowing "door" — a symbolic threshold from the everyday into a world beyond reality, rendered through wind-stirred, moonlit abstraction. He holds a BFA in painting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and pursued an MFA at Pratt Institute, alongside a BA in film from Hongik University. His many honors include the Blue Prize at the Art Korea International Art Fair (2024) and selection in the Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation's Art Vaccine Project (2020), and his work is held in collections including the Gyeonggi Museum of Art and the Government Art Bank.
