Chinese artist Xu Jinwei's "Children Series" exhibition runs at Soohoh Gallery in Bundang from the 18th to the 31st. Xu, one of China's representative artists at the 2009 Venice Biennale, presents woodblock prints and oil paintings depicting marginalized children whose lost joy and vitality reflect the underside of China's rapid economic growth — a meditation on isolation and quiet longing for hope amid modern anonymity and disconnection.
