2025 Soohoh Sharing Love
Nov 1, 2025 – Nov 30, 2025 · 더블트리바이힐튼 서울판교 수호갤러리

Soohoh Gallery's special exhibition "2025 Sharing LOVE -1" — The Aesthetics of Circulation: The Co-evolution of Nature, Humanity, and Art.
Throughout 2025, Soohoh Gallery has explored, under the theme "Environment and Art," the restoration of relationships between humanity and nature, technology and the senses. As the year draws to a close, "Soohoh Sharing Love" gathers this year-long cultural-ecological exploration into a single occasion, reflecting on how art can restore ecological sensibility, ethics, and a harmonious rhythm of existence.
Drawing on James Lovelock's Gaia theory — which views the earth as a single interdependent organism, continually re-balanced through destruction and generation — the exhibition proposes that art functions like an organ within an ecosystem, an ongoing process that completes an ecological circulation between destruction and healing, matter and spirit, sensation and meaning.
"Art is an ecological organ that revives nature's memory through sensation and lets human ethics breathe again."
This circulation is also found in East Asian thought — the mutual generation of being and non-being in Laozi, and the identity of form and emptiness in Buddhism — offering a foundation for reading art as an aesthetics of emptying and relation.
2025 Soohoh Sharing Love, "The Aesthetics of Circulation," proposes art not as a tool that depicts or critiques the environment, but as the environment itself — a field embodying the circulating structure of life, sensation, and ethics. We invite you to join this journey toward art's most beautiful story: circulation.
