Seo Hyosuk

Seo Hyosuk is a painter who depicts the vitality projected through light in natural forms such as flowers and trees, moving between realistic close-up depictions and more abstracted, sectioned compositions to visualize an inner landscape rather than simply reproduce nature. A graduate of Seoul National University's painting program (BFA and MFA), she has held 20 solo exhibitions and participated in over 200 group exhibitions, including international fairs in Miami, Hong Kong, and Seoul.
