Bohnchang Koo

Bohnchang Koo (b. 1953) spent over a decade photographing Joseon-dynasty white porcelain scattered across museums worldwide — the Osaka Museum of Oriental Ceramics, the Japan Folk Crafts Museum, the National Museum of Korea, the Leeum, the Musée Guimet and the Metropolitan Museum of Art — for his acclaimed "Baekja" (White Porcelain) series, illuminating both the tradition's foundations and its living presence in contemporary life. He studied business at Yonsei University and photographic design at Hamburg's University of Fine Arts.
