Yeo Woon Kim
김여운

Yeo Woon Kim paints small, nearly-hidden wild grasses and weeds — often smaller than a fingernail — found growing between paving stones, at close to actual size, as a quiet counterpoint to conventional expectations of scale in exhibition painting. A graduate of Seoul National University's Western painting program, she has held solo exhibitions in Seoul, New York and Hong Kong, and residencies at the Vermont Studio Center and Prairie Center of the Arts, Illinois, with work held by the Prairie Art Center and the Korean Buddhist Art Museum.
