Park Hwayoung

Park Hwayoung (b. 1973) paints expanding fields of dots into symbolic skies and clouds, treating humanity and nature as inseparably entangled rather than observer and observed. She earned her BFA and MFA in painting from Hongik University and has held solo exhibitions including "Collecting Vibes" (Araheon Gallery, Gyeongju, 2024) and "Landscape: What Is Seen and What Disappears" (Gallery Bonard, Hanam, 2024), receiving the Seongnam Cultural Foundation visual arts grant in 2022.
